Free Software you must have for your BlackBerry / SmartPhone!
If you recently acquired, or have had a BlackBerry (or other SmartPhone), here is the skinny on software applications you you absolutely have to have for your BlackBerry / SmartPhone. All these applications are 100% free, and supported with updates unless otherwise noted. Additionally, most of these applications are available for all mobile/smart phones; however, some of these applications are BlackBerry specific. BlackBerry specific applications will have a BlackBerry logo next to the SmartPhone application name. Also, all links are coded below software description.
BuzzMe
BuzzMe allows your phone to vibrate and ring at the same time and every BlackBerry owner should download this if they plan on using the vibrate feature. This program only has two settings, vibration on or off. Instango is an Instant Messaging client for Yahoo, MSN, AIM, ICQ, Jabber, QQ and Google Talk services for your mobile phone. Pandora
Pandora is 100% controllable/customizable radio that allows you to create and edit up to 99 stations by adding and removing music from the stations and skipping past music you don’t want to hear. LogicMail is a POP3/IMAP mail client for your mobile phone. Before LogicMail, I only used my phone’s default mail client; however, the blackberry mail client is web based.
